A lot of bloggers face this “No: 'noindex' detected in 'X-Robots-Tag' http header” error on Google search console while manually indexing their web URLs. Basically, Meta Robots tags are used to prevent the pages from indexing also it provides the flexibility by allowing us to control how our web pages are indexed. Intentionally or unintentionally you are using "noIndex" Robots tags and it caused this "no noindex detected in robots meta tag" problem.

To solve this issue "no noindex detected in robots meta tag", follow the below steps.

1. Open your blogger dashboard

2. Go to the setting menu

3. Go to the Crawlers and indexing section in setting menu

4. Use slide bar to enable custom robots.txt and custom robots header tag (If already enabled then, ignore this step)


5. Click on "Home page tags" under "Custom robots header tag", and enable "all" and "noodp" Tag and also disable "noindex" Tag and save the changes. Refer screenshot.

6. Do same in "Archive and search page tags" and "Post and page tags" as well and save the changes.

7. Go to the Google console dashboard and inspect your website URL.

8. If the URL isn't indexed then click on "Request indexing".

9. After getting "indexing request" popup, click on got it.

10. Now, click on "Test Live URL". Wait for a minutes. Here, your website is available on Google for indexing.
